Panelling or paneling, as per Wikipedia means, “a millwork wall covering constructed from rigid or semi-rigid components. These are traditionally interlocking wood, but could be plastic or other materials..”
Different types of wall Paneling & internal wall cladding materials
Traditionally, Panelling for walls and partitions is done for aesthetics, lower maintenance, and to create focus areas. There can be many Paneling types like stone cladding, cladding tiles & glass wall panels. Other cladding materials may include veneered & laminated ply wood paneling, painted ply panel, fabric & leather wall panels. Most of these are cost, time and labour intensive works. Metal cladding panels like in Aluminum (a green building material) have recently come in vogue for their ease of installation and low maintenance as an alternate to wooden panelling etc.

IQUBX WP02 is a versatile quick-install snap-fit wall paneling system which allows for universal panel materials like glass, lacquered glass, gypsum board, soft board and other wall paneling materials. This unique fixing system is strong enough to hold the wall paneling material panels in place while any individual cladding panel can be changed or replaced in no time.

This modular aluminium demountable wall paneling system is a post and rail framing system. WP01 can accommodate various design grids and sizes of panels for wall panelling and partitions. This system is designed to quickly generate demountable panel and partition framing on site as per desired sizes. The load bearing frame can be fixed on a surface in plumb and line with ease. Thereafter, the panels can be fixed on to the main framing with help of interlocking hooks very fast.This system can save an enormous lead time and labour cost.
This system can generate a panel and groove surface with grooves from 4 mm up to 12mm wide. We recommend using 12 thk prelam and edge-banded panels for most applications, though, there are numerous possibilities of cladding materials and thicknesses. The panels can be pre-laminated boards or laminated ply or glass panels with back ply. One is only limited by one’s imagination.
WP01 demountable wall paneling and partition system construction
The cladding panels can be removed and reinstalled for access for servicing and maintenance with ease. This can be very advantageous for services to be laid behind such a paneling or partition wall. This aspect can also influence the workflow of instllation at site, as paneling need not be withheld till the end of services installation.
Another advantage of this system is that it has a continuous cavity of 12mm, which can partly accommodate conduit protrusions or repairs or thin wiring conduits. This avity can also be used for thin acoustic paneling. Alternatively, if a a full 25 thick or more cavity s required, the framing an be installed on aluminium spacers, increasing the cavity depth for conduits or insulation.

IQUBX WP02 MODULAR ALUMINUM SNAP-FIT WALL PANELING AND CLADDING SYSTEM
This snap-fit paneling system for walls is a very versatile system which allows different material panels to be installed quickly on existing walls and partitions. The wall panel material can be any 12 mm thick material panel like Gypsum board, calcium silicate board, clear glass, lacquered glass, wood, pre-laminated board or ply, soft board etc.
The unique fixing system has a base channel which can be fixed on any substrate with screws from one edge of the receiving wall or partition. The pre-sized panel is placed and the second base channel is placed with flange underneath the panel. The earlier base channel (fixed first) i plugged with snap-fit male channel with flanges to fix the wall panel from one side. The second panel is placed and the third base channel fixed in continuity. The second male channel is now fixed and the fixing continues.
IQUBX WP02 SNAPFIT PANELING SYSTEM
The front visible channel has just 5mm wide flanges on both side and a 4mm groove in between, It can be powder-coated or anodized as per site requirements.
This system allows the fixing of wall panels at a very high speed on site and can cover over 1000 sqft in a single day using just two manpower.
Any panel can be changed for want of change of material finish, repair, maintenance etc. Carefully designed and installed system can even allow creation of fenestration like a clear glass fixed window in cabins at any time.
It can be paired with aluminium channels any clad from both sides to create a partition system in no time as well.
