ITC Hotel - Ceiling Trapdoor Project
Context and the brief
For the ITC Hotel project in Udaipur, IQUBX supplied and installed the CTD025 Ceiling Trapdoor System over approximately 2,500 sq. ft. The project was completed in 2024, with Ar Mukul Goyal and Associates as the architect and Shivnandani Resorts Pvt. Ltd. as the PMC.
The requirement was for a ceiling trapdoor system that could be customized to suit site conditions and ceiling design, while accommodating different 12 mm thick finish materials. The system also needed to provide stable long-term performance, smooth operation, and a slim, uniform appearance within the ceiling.

Customization as per Site Requirements
The CTD025 system was specified to accommodate site conditions and the ceiling design. The solution also allowed flexibility in using different 12 mm thick finish materials according to project requirements.
Stability & Long-Term Performance
The trapdoor was required to remain stable over time without sagging or falling. Smooth opening and closing was also an important requirement to help avoid cracks or damage to the surrounding ceiling.
Sleek & Uniform Appearance
The client required a slim and aesthetically clean trapdoor that would blend with the ceiling. A consistent 2–3 mm minimum groove on all sides was specified to maintain uniform alignment and a consistent visual appearance.

A full corporate fit-out delivered in 8–10 days on a live site, with a seamless wood-grain finish, no visible fixings, and a partition system Hans Business Park can dismantle and relocate whenever its space needs change.
